The Los Angeles Lakers and five-time All-Star Luke Doncic agreed to a three-year, $165-million extension, his agent told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The agreement includes a player option for the 2028-29 campaign, Charania adds.
Doncic was eligible to ink an extension with the Lakers on Aug. 2 ahead of his first full campaign with the club following an in-season trade from the Dallas Mavericks. Doncic had a $48.9-million player option for 2026-27.
