Why This World Series Matters
The 2025 matchup marks the first Blue Jays World Series appearance since 1993, when Toronto clinched its second straight title on Joe Carter’s legendary walk-off home run. For the Dodgers, it’s another opportunity to capture their first championship since 2020 and reaffirm their dynasty status in modern baseball.
