Jared Curtis, the No. 2 quarterback and the fifth-ranked overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, has flipped his commitment from Georgia to Vanderbilt.
The Nashville native verbally committed to the Bulldogs in May and now becomes the Commodores’ highest-ranked recruit in program history. Curtis’ decision comes ahead of the NCAA’s early signing period, which begins Wednesday.
“Being here in Nashville and seeing what Vandy has been doing this season has been amazing and over the past few weeks, I felt more and more that I want to be a part of that, to be close to home, to play in front of friends and family and to be what I love to be, an underdog,” Curtis said in a statement on X. “I am excited to be a ‘Dore and excited to be part of building something here at home with Coach Lea.”
