Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter won’t play on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Chargers and is considered week-to-week after undergoing a procedure on both of his shoulders, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Carter is aiming to be as close to fully healthy as possible for a playoff run, Schefter added.
The Pro Bowler wasn’t on the injury report leading up to last week’s loss to the Chicago Bears, but defensive coordinator Vic Fangio told reporters Wednesday that he was playing through an injury.
