Tom Brady not picking a side in Super Bowl LX isn’t sitting well with current and former New England Patriots players.
Brady, who won six Lombardi Trophies with the Patriots, recently said he won’t cheer for his former team on Feb. 8 against the Seattle Seahawks.
“I don’t have a dog in the fight in this one. May the best team win,” Brady recently said on the “Let’s Go!” Sirius XM podcast, according to NFL.com’s Grant Gordon.
However, retired defensive lineman Vince Wilfork, a former teammate of Brady in New England, called out the legendary quarterback for his comments, highlighting Brady’s ties as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Brady also serves as an NFL broadcaster at Fox.
“That’s bullcrap, Tom,” Wilfork recently said on WEEI. “This ain’t political. It ain’t political, what it is. Raiders ain’t in it. Say what it is, what you see.”
