The New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Cleveland Browns are among the teams that have shown interest in Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reports.
Los Angeles gave Stafford’s agent permission to talk with other teams to gauge his trade market and contract value in the week leading up to Super Bowl LIX, Breer adds. However, the priority reportedly appears to be for Stafford to return to the franchise.
The 37-year-old signal-caller is likely looking to redo his current contract, which runs through 2026 and contains only $4 million in guaranteed money for the next two seasons, per Over The Cap.
The four known teams interested in Stafford all have question marks under center. The Browns hold the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, while the Giants hold the No. 3 pick and the Raiders will be picking sixth. The Steelers hold the 21st pick.
