The Washington Nationals won their first World Series in franchise history after beating the Houston Astros 6-2, in Game 7.
The Nationals are the first team to win the World Series without winning a home game in a series. They took a 3-2 lead on homers from Anthony Rendon and Howie Kendrick, who came up clutch once again during this miraculous October run.
