I mean, it’s it’s been very very good game. I’m not gonna lie It’s true. What you think about this match?

Jaime Fernandez
Well, I mean, that game everybody was convinced that Liverpool was gonna win. And I heard even before the game that lievable was gonna destroy them on a win effectively, but these type of tournament is a perfect tournament for for a coach like female on it, because he knows how to win these type of games. He knows how to defend he knows how to put intensity in their players. And even the Liverpool is amazing. I think European club you know, didn’t didn’t expect The letting go Maria was gonna is gonna be with that intensity besides that obviously Liverpool had a possession of the ball which is really important had a couple of chances and I totally feel that the second leg is going to bring us a way better game first of all for the fans and second I definitely feel that that the Liverpool is gonna go through and Madrid just you know playing playing and I’m feel is different and he says that most fear Liverpool are so used to to attack I got back so I feel they are going to score a couple of goals and yeah, it will go through but you never know you never know

Jaime Fernandez
Well, they are they are third place now. They are obviously getting better. They had a tough time. But I mean, right now I totally feel what the they are getting better with with their players. They are recover. The cost is back. And Joelle feliz was injured for a month. And he’s back. And you know, electical he, they know already because all these players, they play two Champions League finals. They they won a league like probably like five or six years ago. They know how to get in these part of the season. So I feel they are gonna get really good in the end of at the end of the season, but they only have 110s really which is the game of Liverpool. So we’re gonna definitely see a night game.

Yeah, definitely. This is this is one of the games a couple games out there that we know when when the like the second like approaches is gonna be pretty crazy. I can see that we’re crazy cuz it could be a lot of goals going on there so we’ll see what happens. Another another surprising result in my opinion was Dortmund beating PSG to one. Jamie. Would this be surprising or is PC or is PSG the same as Liverpool? They’re probably going to win it when they get back to Paris.

I doubt it. And I’m gonna tell you why. Or worse yet, these year I mean, they just signed Holland from, you know, from from another team. A very young guy from Norway, and he’s a killer. He’s been scoring the last I think in the last six games he has scored like 10 goals. So we’re talking about guy that right now he can score no matter what a stadium no matter what meaning he’s on fires or Lucia had a lot of young talent that they are implementing for their games. However, we know PSG has sandbar pen name are and those are the type of players that that I mean us spend a lot of money buying these players for games like like the game that is coming. So I feel it will be like a tie game. But again, you see how important it is to win in Champions League because right now, for OCI if they go there, and they score more than two goals, PSG need to score two more than them. So you think about it is gonna be tough to for PSG to win that game without getting any score. And he goes

Jaime Fernandez
I mean, if it’s a league that unfortunately, he got like that, because their money. So VSG, 10 years ago, it was, it was one of the top teams in France, but he didn’t have the money to bring the players that they brought. Now obviously, Money makes a big difference and that’s why they are able to The wind year after year because they have really, I mean, really good players. But at the same time, you know, like, the rest of the league, I mean, they’re their teams had a lot of tradition. So they always find these very feast because they fight every every meaning. They they, they typically win their games one zero. But one thing about these, these team Atlanta is that they score a lot of goals. A lot of goals in every game. So you can tell I read about them before the game against my Lindsay I look at that recently was for one. So I don’t I don’t have any doubt that Atlanta is gonna go through. Because even though Valencia comes with a two or three zero, he’s gonna be tough for Valencia to contend a team that usually scores in every game. now for Valencia and the league the currently as I mean are they a mediocre team is that how would you put it?

Jaime Fernandez
No, it’s one of the top teams in the league. But the problem is is they been competing in Champions League in in the Copa del Rey in La Liga. So there is some moment that you need to really think that they games you know I mean, you need to You need to really think all which games I’m gonna put my best players with games, I’m gonna put all that type of players. So that’s when they love games, that they were important, you know?

Yeah. And that’s something guys keep in mind. You’re not just playing for regular season you’re playing and other tournaments throughout the season, you know, little mini knockout tournaments, there’s probably two of them, depending sometimes three, so you got to pick and choose where you put your firepower and that’s one thing and also Atlanta is number fourth in the Syria so they’re definitely up there. It’s funny because I had never seen Atlanta up there in like Syria for a while. But we’ll go on to the next match Tottenham RB left sake, Marino says he doesn’t have the players, but he was able to hold them down to one nil. What are your thoughts?

Well the thing is Barcelona is suffering right now problem with this squad they don’t have enough players they they got octoly visa was sent off and these other player bootcamps is not going to be able to play so they actually gonna be with 1213 players for this final game. So is true that they play the club now which is a home and they have messy so there is no doubt that Barcelona is probably gonna gonna pass bodies through that that they they are going to they are playing with fire in that game because again, what I told you the good thing about the Champions League is when you score a way those goals count double so I see Barcelona going through the next round but they need to be careful because Napoli’s they know how to defend them, they know how to attack. So it’s gonna be a tough game for them.

Napoli obviously has Mertens Jaime, what do you see this Napa team? I mean are they’re forced to reckon with they have talent, but are they a good team?

Jaime Fernandez
They’re a good team, they have a good coach. And individually they have really good players is through that they are suffering these year. And you know, it’s kind of like Valencia. Those those teams like they can really play good a couple of games but being consistent and being winning every game. That’s when he shows you that. How important is to be a huge team like Real Madrid or Barcelona where even though you don’t have a good game, you ended up winning or, or at least getting the point that you need,

who’s the most important player for Napoli right now?

I will say with no doubt this guy Martin is from Belgium. He’s the one that scored an amazing goal. But they have a great defender now he didn’t play the other day and calmly Bali. He Manchester United was really interesting about this player. He’s a great central defender in general, I mean they have good players in the midfield also. But I will say Barcelona is probably gonna pass that

He has, he has, people are expecting much. I mean, they they supposed to be fine, but again, the good thing there what I like about Leon is they they are not the defending team, so they only know how to attack on a score. So I don’t I don’t see they’re gonna be like, oh, let’s defend and see if they don’t score any goals. So I totally feel that Leon can come pass through. It’s all it’s all gonna be into the devala and around the bartender, I know had a good game. You went this is gonna pass. The game that was I think was kind of surprising for me, but I would like to hear what your what high may said, Man City beat Real Madrid to one and I think I’m going to piggyback what he says I think main cities focused on on winning the Champions League this year. Jaime Fernandez
Well, they may be set up to when they play better. And especially they they flip the game in just 10 minutes. In 10 minutes, they were able to tie and not only tie they score another goal and even better, they think thanks to one crazy Ramos asked, you got sent off. So right now it’s even better because Ramadan is going to need to play and way with no competition. And we said two goals in your back. So I totally feel Manchester City’s gonna pass. It hurts to say these but I’m realistic I’m a person that then knows how important is the Champions League. I mean when you score away and scoring two goals away I think it’s game over. You know this season was the dawn and being second place in La Liga How do you see him? What is the state of Real Madrid right now?

Jaime Fernandez
Well that Real Madrid was was leading in their league for a little while we were all thing of finally this is the league that we’re gonna win with blah blah blah. But it’s true that in the last two games, they they they huge mistakes again, small teams. And right now look, they are second. I mean they they only have a difference of two points. Which is nothing. But do you know if you don’t win this Sunday against Barcelona? Who knows? It’s gonna be tough to it’s complicated to get back is complicated. Yeah, because I mean that still there is a lot of games left. But Barcelona had a great team, they are not gonna lose so many games.

How has been the return of the dawn? Has that been a good thing? I’ve been hearing rumors that he could get fired, like, what’s his status for this club?

No, he’s fine. He has all the support from the president, which is what is important for a coach and all that support from the club and everybody wants to help see done because what, what seed I’m brought to Real Madrid before, this is huge. So they, they need to respect season and at least give him a year to work. Now, I can guarantee you right Know that he doesn’t win any title. He’s going out.

No, it’s not gonna be undefeated. Because again, as soon as Liverpool keeps playing in Champions League, they are they are going to slow down in in in one of the competitions and I I feel club is gonna need to risk some games and don’t play with sila or with Manny and I feel one of those games. They are going to lose But even if they lose is not important. I mean, how many years has been Liverpool waiting for that title?
