It’s been a week since the NFL free agency has been open. Most of the big names are taken but a few are left. Joining us to talk to us a little bit about what happened this past week to rehash Ryan Krista. You’re now here at the sports games.

Ryan Christa
San Diego thank you very much Glad to be here. You know

Santiago Leon
it’s been very interesting like we thought Sports was dead. But NFL had the freedom to see like nothing.

Ryan Christa
It’s amazing. Like you can’t kill it, it’s like, well, everything else is dead. You know, I mean, MBA after the NFL, because all agency is crazy. You know? I mean, normally vacancy is big. It’s never been bigger because the circumstances around you know, not much going on. So, getting a lot of headline

Santiago Leon
NBA, which is they were at the same spot as the NFL. But let’s get started First, obviously, big week. What was the biggest move this week for you?

Ryan Christa
I mean, the biggest highlight obviously, we talked a week ago and he asked me where he was gonna go. I said, I don’t think he’d go anywhere else other than going back to England because the only other option really seemed like with Tampa Bay, and it just seemed weird, but it’s 2020 and then Great San Diego buccaneers like 2021 Oh my goodness.

Santiago Leon
No, of course there was a lot of rumors with the Chargers for the for the Buccaneers. It was kind of last minute. Why Tampa Bay? Why what geared Tom Brady to the

Ryan Christa
I mean, first you start with the coach who is their answer is kind of a definitely a player’s coach. You know, easy guy to play for, you know, low key, pretty much anti Bill Belichick, basically. So I think that had a lot to do with it being on the east coast. I think you want to keep this family undecided in the country, you know, I think because life and Kansas are going to stay in the New York area. So I mean, I mean, it’s not close to them, you know, you can take a two hour plane ride home, you know, Tampa in New York and he’s back home or they can fly back after the visit. So I think that was a And, like, you know, people may not realize I mean hands have any got a lot of offensive weapons, you know, because I think the key was David Swensen put up huge numbers wise, but his turnovers were, you know, a lot and and a crucial moment. So you put down the kind of hearing all there who may not have, you know, the physical abilities right now of achievements, Winston, but he’s got the sense of, you know, leadership to kind of bring that in, you know, I think they feel like they got enough weapons around, you know, offensively and defensively right now to kind of put a good season together. And I think that division is going to be very, very interesting, especially, you know, we know the saints that keep on getting better. The Panthers you know, kind of an unknown you know, with your coach, no quarterback, and Falcons are kind of wrapping their off and back on with some of the additions they put on. So I like to look everybody’s making moves.

Santiago Leon
Right now, the Buccaneers obviously Brady could could pass the Godwin or to Mike Evans. How much of a difference is offensive powers compared to the Patriots?

Ryan Christa
I mean, that was kind of, you know, no big deal with the Patriots I think was the last game you know, with, with James Frey and Sonny Michelle, the White House this hasn’t really panned out. You remember last year they brought in Josh Gordon, Antonio Brown, you know, the draft lottery see when the first round was mostly off for the whole year. So he really had very few weapons and I don’t think they’re planning on bringing any more new weapons in this year. You know, big name Elisa. For agency so I think that was one of the reasons why they split it. He handled a unstoppable you know the eyes on me, you know this guy Muay Thai man. I was like, amazing to me and then Chris Godwin go, then a little bit of everything else speedster so he’s got a lot you know a lot of a lot of players around him. Definitely. They might not be you know, I don’t know they’ll be a playoff team but they’re definitely an exciting team the Buccaneers for sure.

Santiago Leon
course there’s been rumors of Antonio brown and Melvin Gordon going, Well, I’m Evan Gordon anymore. He’s actually going to the Broncos, but having Antonio brown going to Tampa Bay, would that be a necessity or there’ll be just more weapons.

Ryan Christa
I don’t think it’s a necessity. I think that would be a hindrance. But I didn’t have a You know, Tony upon Tom Brady a short time they played together last year really formed a good bond. You know, and I think Tom Brady wants a little bit from area to area the they had with him last year. I don’t see it happening. I think Antonio brown may have played his last place in the NFL is just me.

Santiago Leon
Cameron Brady is the tight end for Tampa Bay. Is that the right tight end for a forum? Brady?

Ryan Christa
Absolutely. You know, receiving tight and blocking. Big Game, you’re going to look at oj oj Howard out of Alabama. appear receiving tight end You know, like I said, you know, this thing is fully loaded everywhere and

Santiago Leon
something to definitely look at in the next couple of weeks. But of course, Ryan doesn’t think they’ll win the NFC South. I do think they had the potential

Ryan Christa
to do it. Oh, absolutely. I think that’s that’s the word you got to use San Diego potential. You know, they got to put it the same way on offense and defense. You know, they’re so close on both sides of the ball, you know, and they have a lot of playmakers on defense. made a lot of great additions. They got Shaquille Barrett last year from the Broncos who was basically a backup and the guy had 19 and a half back you know Devon white last year was great for them. Offensively, you know they just got to put in a kind of all together

Santiago Leon
time will only tell of course you get the Panthers with today just signed another quarterback we’ll get to that soon. That leaves the Patriots are they gonna tank for Lawrence?

Ryan Christa
I was I was you know, talking with Tyler this morning about Turner he doesn’t think that he thinks the rosters too good to just tank to me. I think they will. I think they’re gonna let me bring in Brian. that lets me know that this you know I think they’ve got their quarterback set for this year and that’s Jared to them and Brian Hoyer so that leads me to believe they’re probably not gonna drop the quarterback this year they do it’s not going to be early on it’s probably not going to be you know another difference maker right away to me all the time you know i they do have a great defense you know, but I can see it both ways I guess I just don’t see them making the playoffs I guess. I think they’re rather tank because I think if we’re gonna be you know, not make the playoffs you want to get a best draft pick for next year.

Santiago Leon
Trevor Lawrence from Clemson he is the prospective NFL quarterback. The perspective number one draft quarterback for next year’s draft. Definitely to ion he is one. One college championship, made it to the final again this past year. So he’s definitely perspective. Ryan. Let’s look at what’s remaining in the free agencies the best remaining free agents first come jadeveon Clowney he, his last team was with Seattle. What do you think? What do you think will happen to him?

Ryan Christa
I think he ends up working on the right number another, you know, one or two year deal. He’s one of those guys. You know, he makes plays here and there, you know a game and then it’s quiet. You know, if you’re gonna if you’re gonna pay guy all that money, you want him to be productive every single game. You know, he was he was he made some he made a lot of gay plays for the Texans. And he may lie great plays last year for the Seahawks, but they were just so isolated. He would be it’d be unstoppable one game. And you know, next year, here mind a lot of Alabama kudzu like just, you can’t even want to know you’re reliable. And if he if they were reliable every single day, these guys win. Mr. Huge paydays because when they’re good, they’re good but when they’re bad You don’t even know they’re on the field and you can’t be paying all that money for those people.

Santiago Leon
Biggest quarterback in the free agency, maybe not big for some people is Jameson Winston. What’s gonna happen to him?

Ryan Christa
I have to tell you, it looks like he’s not going to be a star because pretty much every star quarterbacks been filled for right now. I probably like him in Pittsburgh. You know why? We saw last year that the Pittsburgh backup quarterbacks weren’t that great Mason Rudolph and the duck duck, duck duck hajus you know, way back in clinic Yeah, it just I don’t I think they’re both third string quarterbacks me you know, guys that can come in, you know, once a year maybe the play but you know, they can help you out but to me guys that play that much football that last year they definitely show their limitations. And you got a guy in jail. Winston you know who’s got all the talent in the world? He’s just got to win between this head between the ears. And then you got a guy and Ben Ross or your starter. I mean if you look down over the weekend a guy looks like he hasn’t left the house and since the surgery in September, you know he’s got a gigantic beard. He looks how to shave. So you kind of worried heavier Steelers fan? Yeah, he shot a nerf ball 100 yards but it was a nerf ball. So that’s just me. I’d be worried if I was a Steelers fan and I think James Swenson could provide some stability.

Santiago Leon
Some say that he’ll be good for the CFL.

Ryan Christa
He’s too good for the CFL.

Santiago Leon
Another player Robbie Anderson he played for the Jets Where do you think we’ll end up

Ryan Christa
um it’s tough because I think a lot of teams that need by receivers are kind of holding off having the big money because what but the strap coming up where so many great gliders are great working ladders. syrus in this draft that you know who will get paid as a rookie way salary so you know you’re looking a lot at wide receivers not moving because or they’re not gonna get these huge paydays because teams are like, why would we waste all this money on when we can get a good value pick in the draft so it’s really hard to tell you know, I could see him going back to the Jets you know, or you know, I mean, I, I keep on saying I know that I Broncos, they need at least at least two new wide receivers, you know, they literally have one starting wide receiver right now that’s close,

Santiago Leon
which we’ll get back to the Broncos a little bit later in the show about Melvin Gordon. Beyond that. Rashad pyramid class play for the for the for the Buccaneers, where where do you think he should be playing that?

Ryan Christa
time in the same boat as Rob this guy, you know, came out you know as a highly routed first round pick Kind of flamed out you know got a lot of potential tremendous amount of speed but his inconsistency Robbie Anderson I think a lot more consistent in his physical though you know his ability you know you can say his lack of playmakers around Robbie Anderson kind of, you know, limited him but again you know he’s gonna go to a team as a third or fourth wide receiver so it’s hard to tell

Santiago Leon
next one mark is golden he played for the Seattle Seahawks giants giants sorry near giant yeah he is a outside linebacker.

Ryan Christa
Yeah, you know, he’s a, you know a guy again. You’re gonna fill in these. Again, we’re talking about, you know, jail felony Ababa versus, you know, first down, you know, outside linebacker Make a player but not consistent enough that you would like to play the big box.

Santiago Leon
Germaine Ifedi, he played for the Seahawks. He is a offensive tackle.

Ryan Christa
Oh Michael Ifedi. Again, run blockers and NFL I would like to see him Broncos but once you

Santiago Leon
go to the Broncos otherwise shops yeah

Ryan Christa
he’s not he’s a guy, you know when again, we’re talking about you know that when he’s cut he’s got he’s got plays on you know, a good line he’s one of the best run blockers in the NFL. He just had a lot of injury issues. Again probably gonna get paid, you know a lot for one or two year deal because if you get them good, he’s gonna be good.

Santiago Leon
Vaughn Bell blast play for the New Orleans Saints.

Ryan Christa
I’d like to have him go back to the same you know, I think he sells out there actor especially since a lot of all they brought back Malcolm Jenkins but I think Kevin Jenkins will play well together.

Santiago Leon
hastened Peters he played for the Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle

Ryan Christa
again another, another offensive lineman who has had trouble. Here’s once a tight end in college for Texas. FYI, I gained a lot of weight off assignment for the bills. I was actually involved in the trade from the shed LaShawn McCoy from Philadelphia. to Buffalo, he went back from Buffalo to Philadelphia, and a solid career for the Eagles. I just I don’t think there’s anything last time I was tired.

Santiago Leon
The Dominican soon last play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ryan Christa
Man, he’s got all the talent in the world. I’d love to see him go back to Los Angeles to play with Aaron Donald because when those two are together, and they play well together, they’re unstoppable. I think one of the big reasons why the Rams went to the Super Bowl if you ever got time in this unit is that saints and Rams championship game goes on. I know we talked about the pass interference call. I think one of the big reasons why the Rams won that game was in the upper end of Adamic ensue. He was unstoppable. But in that way, he didn’t have a great year and again, he had some good place to end moments are the Buccaneers again. I’ll be looking at a one year deal. Kind of another prove it deal. But she didn’t really prove it for the Buccaneers. Again either players I think who are going to be out there for a little bit. You know, they’re going to look for the best, best situation.

Santiago Leon
What do you leave the LA

Ryan Christa
last time one yard, the Buccaneers.

Santiago Leon
Yeah yeah but like why did he leave la initially?

Ryan Christa
Um I think the Rams and you know the why they had a release early and they signed so many people two years ago for these high deals that there’s impossible to keep all in any the salary cap and I brought into the to steal from when he you know time with dolphins when he got traded you know he they could only keep them for a year without really you know, sending him off on his way because the amount of money he was making he they had a release. So it was more of a salary cap issue that more of them didn’t want and so it’s just, again, tough to send these, you know, these guys, they want to play, they want to make money but they got to, they gotta balance a month and this is when you have the second tier free agents, you know, aren’t going to get the huge deals but they’re looking for the best situation

Santiago Leon
lastly ever seen Griffin he last played for the Minnesota Vikings a defensive end

Ryan Christa
again another ultra talented guy just knucklehead knucklehead University Santiago this guy kind of wacko little bit when he was good San Diego he was you know he made that biking defense unstoppable great pass rusher can stop the run again you know I think who wants to take a risk on him basically, you know, you know you’re gonna get a talented guy but show some distraction.

Santiago Leon
What’s the most common characteristic from all these players that I just told you?

Ryan Christa
consistency Townsend

Santiago Leon
they’re there. They just need some, I guess. Someone to put them into place. Here the guy I know. There’s

Ryan Christa
a guy Counting you’re making the list of being best available players but a guy who had good amazing you know tanking into the Broncos last year before he got hurt and as a guy came up Derrick Walton on the Broncos about eight years from Cincinnati, had a great year a great pass rusher from the defensive tackle stop and run stopper but he broke his collarbone. I think that’s really what’s stopping him because I can give you a nice addition for a lot of teams.

Santiago Leon
Derek Wolfe is a defensive end. He played college football at the University of Cincinnati, and was selected was selected and drafted by the Denver Broncos in 20 1236. Overall, but but Denver Broncos in 2012

Ryan Christa
Yeah. A lot of great years one of the one of the key contributors when they won the Super Bowl a couple of years ago.

Santiago Leon
The great Bronco era speaking about the Broncos, they sign Melvin Gordon, a high caliber running back. What are your thoughts?

Ryan Christa
Well the best way to protect the young quarterback is to give them a good running game and we know what we get from Philip Lindsay Nichols Lindsey isn’t a big guy so we know we can’t give him the ball every single play and we know talk about inconsistency and that’s why streaming was you know the backup running back from Oregon who make a you know a great play kind of you know, big strong guy but then a bit every once in a while he just kind of get hung up you know, can’t get the motor going. So looking for a better one to punch in you know, Melvin Gordon is an awesome you know, you know, motherboard to do a lot of different things look kind of similar so you’re no you’re not gonna get a thunder and lightning. You’re gonna get a lot of a lot of lightning with Melvin Gordon and so plenty

Santiago Leon
another signing by the Broncos today. They signed Titan Nick Vanette for two years. $5.7 million. Do you like this move.

Ryan Christa
It’s kind of more of a blocking guy. We got No offense last year, he was one of those guys who plays tight end, but really, he’s a wide receiver. But you saw you kind of adding a guy like that to kind of have some stability with blocking

Santiago Leon
something to definitely look at how have the Broncos done well, for this free agency so far

Ryan Christa
they’ve been solid, you know, the biggest splash of Melvin Gordon, they kind of just don’t I mean, I think we all you know, we look to see if they’re gonna make a big splash in the wide receiver and since they haven’t so we’re kind of you know, I think pretty much it’s known that they’re going to take at least one if not two wide receivers. In the draft, you know, they added AJ boy a cornerback by last Chris Hara. So, you know, we have a player in the name of Bryce Callahan last year who played a lot of money too. But he never is got an appeal Ashika this season on Android, so that’ll be a nice addition to have Come back next year. I’ll be starting. AJ boy

Santiago Leon
a another team that is making big news is the Atlanta Falcons they signed trade will. head will on trade well from Minnesota. Is this a big move for Atlanta?

Ryan Christa
Again, this is a good potential guide as you know, for the first year he this guy kind of got on the field. You know, it seems like last year, he made some plays when he had chances. Again, I think that’s a big loss in the Vikings because you’re you’re now losing stefon Diggs because playmaker, so who would affect us or have opted out of dealer You know, I think when, when Adam siana result last year him and Dixit were a good combo so I thought the Vikings was trying to keep Treadwell but, you know, being a third wide receiver now for the positions with Ridley and Jones. I think that could be a good thing. standing for them, especially you know if they can get anything from Todd Gurley this year. Again, who’s gonna win the NFC stands for very good football teams. I think.

Santiago Leon
Speaking about Todd Gurley actually signed Gurley this past weekend. What are you thoughts about that? Yeah.

Ryan Christa
Going back home, he played college football for the Bulldogs. We all knew that, you know, with his knee injuries in college, he didn’t have a lot in the NFL. And I think he, he played for teams, and especially early on when they were the St. Louis Rams, who ran him ragged, you know, and I think he lost a lot of mileage on you know, the first couple years but you know, he had a breakout year and time again, when they went to the Super Bowl got paid a lot of money. And unfortunately, this thing of the Rams they overpaid some of the players that now they’re releasing a lot of that core that They went to the Super Bowl a couple years ago. He last year you could just you know started to see him. definitely take not just one step or maybe two steps or so. But I think they’re you know, bounce them out there a little bit. Find some good balance in the running game. I think Gurley would be a nice job a nice option for the Falcons cuz he can’t catch the ball. He’s got good hands, you know, especially if he can just become the inside runner. You know, a lot reminds me of when the Falcons picked up Steven Jackson towards the end of his career,

Santiago Leon
looking at Atlanta’s starting offensive. starters Matt Ryan Todd Gurley, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley Treadwell, Hayden Hurst, Jake Matthews, James carpenter, Alex Mack Crick’s Lindstrom and Caleb McGarry. They’re all former first round picks. Ryan is this a team to look out for in the NFC South?

Ryan Christa
Absolutely, Santiago. Step up.

Ryan Christa
One of these four teams is gonna kind of overachieve. You know, one of them will find me the same and you’ll always be retired and one of them are under extreme because somebody’s got to lose these games. Somebody’s got to win these games. I just, you know, I really believe that often, they get, you know, they haven’t done much to address their defense of vulnerability, especially in the passing game, but it is a darn good offense. Santiago. Matt Ryan got anything left in the tank.

Santiago Leon
Cardinals, another team in the NSC. Look at this offense. King on Drake, DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, Andy Isabella is Kliff Kingsbury gonna have fun calling these calls.

Ryan Christa
Oh, absolutely. I think he’s got the players. He wants to come back. Spread it out. Again, you know, I think it’s, it’s finding out how to run. wide open, you know? Spread it out on offense in the NFL. And I think Andy Reed, tonight was the first one to really, you know, perfect the combination of using those college concepts in the NFL world. You know, Kingsbury had some success last year. I think Murray has some success is just finding the right you know, weapons and you know, changing up the play calls this a little bit to match up the NFL game.

Santiago Leon
And there you have it. This is the NFL free agency week one. As we mentioned before, there were a few people I mean, there’s a few players out there that need to you know, still going through contract negotiations, some players that are needing a new team, just like Cam Newton, where do you think we’ll end up right

Ryan Christa
yeah, I think right now, the Pampas they sign you know, we I don’t want to talk about this, but they just signed PJ Walker former NFL star, quarterbacks quarterback Yeah, arena nights with his college coach Matt rule. So obviously that’s gonna be their backup quarterback. So in their head, I’m sure that there’s not much market for trade for trading for Canada and they’re probably best to just release them, you know, and this guy’s got all the talent in the world San Diego. It says,

Santiago Leon
What is it? Do you really that’s the guy and,

Ryan Christa
you know, I don’t think he’s a bad guy. I don’t think he’s a bad teammate. He’s, you know, he’s, you know, he doesn’t take criticism. Well, I’ve heard it kind of shows in his media availability, but I’ve heard that from other you know, from, you know, Twitter from, you know, people who follow the Panthers, you know, but he’s not a bad teammate, you know, help, you know, but it says something you really want him to be the leader of your team, and he’s got some tread on the tires. You know, he’s got hit a lot. You know, he’s Random ball you know, Panthers so you know what does he have left? So

Santiago Leon
the wear and tear on Canute is definitely displaying even in his early

Ryan Christa
game you know? Yeah again you know, does he go back does he go to the backup quarterback? Does he go to somebody like the Chargers

Santiago Leon
at the Redskins? I think be graced by Ron Rivera zil. Um, he can ruin Dwayne Haskins.

Ryan Christa
He could, but I think he played Haskins last year. They really think you know, this guy is the guy and I think you just can’t win or lose. You know, you got to see what you got in this guy

Santiago Leon
who can be willing to play as a backup?

Ryan Christa
I don’t think so. So I think that’s why he’s gonna hold out. So I think he’s gonna have a rude awakening like jameis Winston is that the markets kind of washed up or Studies I’ve also got to look at another guy Andy Dalton is probably going to be traded here too. Where’s he going? Could he be the guy who sells him a shirt for the Patriots? I don’t know like again you gotta worry

Santiago Leon
or or will be Brian Hoyer

Ryan Christa
bring him by hire by Give me one year contract you’ll find it’s probably easy to contact guy if they’re able to bring him

Santiago Leon
in he was patriots do cut a lot of guys

Ryan Christa
you know, I mean, this guy’s been the team three times. I think they know what they have in here and I want his first crack at him. But I mean dolphins a much better player than horse

Santiago Leon
grooms still them

Ryan Christa
i think that’s that’s the plan right now but things are always you know, can change and you know, I don’t know if it’s, everything’s up in the air. When are we talking about new and Winston Dalton? Those are wild cards. Right now. You Do these guys have been starters for years? Are they willing to take a backup role? We kind of see Marcus Mariota do that right away with it. I think he’s gonna come in in a second string and will you ever get a chance to earn a job? Maybe but he’s got to earn it.

Santiago Leon
I can see him definitely working hard for that. But obviously, you know you’re dealing with it with it with another starting quarterback. We don’t know what the Raiders coach wants, you know, I mean,

Ryan Christa
ya know, I know we don’t talk about cars making a lot of money Santiago

Santiago Leon
he can sit back and relax.

Ryan Christa
I mean, you if you’re paying the guy all that money you want him to be your starter. Maybe not give me your starter that you gotta cut up because you get so okay, fine, Mario, that was kind of you know, okay. Mariota has a chance to earn your star.

Santiago Leon
And we got cut by Ryan. Let me give him a call. Back to the show. We were just talking about the Panthers. They have five quarterbacks, Teddy Bridgewater, right? We were telling the audience, they’re asking me who the Panthers have his quarterback that five quarterbacks that Teddy Bridgewater Cam Newton PJ Walker, Carl Allen and will Greer. Go back with the Raiders Mariota you think he’s able to start there or you think he’s more of a? Let’s put them on like, you know, certain plays?

Ryan Christa
Yeah, I think you’ll have a chance to earn a starting job that like I said, He’s gonna, he’s gonna come in as a second string Rep. Derek Carr falters, you know which he has. Yeah, he’s had a chance to Santiago. And you look at what he did. So

Santiago Leon
they’re in the same class as Jay Cutler. You know it consistency. Yeah. I call it the Jay Cutler quarterback style.

Unknown Speaker
So yeah.

Ryan Christa
It’s got a lot of talent. It just hasn’t been able to put it together. You know, I think it has to do with the you know the limit. I don’t think he’s always had the greatest weapons around him in Tennessee but so I don’t know if he’s got great weapons around him or no, oh guess Las Vegas but we’ll see.

Santiago Leon
We’ll see what happens NFL free and you see still fleshing out. Of course you can follow us on the sports cast dotnet for the latest and greatest when it comes to

Ryan Christa
quarterback I don’t think you can do and

Santiago Leon
who will agree or had a great college career but not able to make a stamp in the NFL?

Ryan Christa
For sure, you know, this guy is gonna kind of probably bounce around as a backup quarterback he’s got

Santiago Leon
he’s like the brain like he’s like he’s he’s pretty much in like the same pool as like the Brian Horner quarterback type.

Ryan Christa
You know, by the time you know, I think he’s that, you know, real girl got a chance at the end of the year last year, but again, when you’re playing end of the year in a team that does much hope. It’s hard to measure a guy up to see what type of quarterback he is. But I think it was more comfortability. You know, they bring in Teddy Bridgewater, who was with the New Orleans Saints who was undefeated. Yeah. And he also was coached by Joe Brady a couple years ago who was the LSU offensive coordinator, who is now the Panthers offensive coordinator. So he’s familiar to their offense and now you bring in a guy familiar with Tycho’s. So I think it’s the time to keep everybody on the same page as you got to remember San Diego there’s going to be very little if any offseason training this year. So this offseason is about bringing people who are familiar with familiar with you, you’re not gonna make a lot of radical moves because you can’t teach a lot of things right now because your inability to meet each other.

Santiago Leon
Ryan is correct. The offseason training will be diminished.

Ryan Christa
I’ll be lucky to Santiago, the training camp on time at But

Santiago Leon
I don’t I just don’t see at the moment but there’s still time this wiggle room but it looks like the time is cutting a little bit short the window is closing very fast but NFL free agency is still happening. And of course the NFL Draft coming April 23 to 25th it has been announced they’ll be in a studio. We don’t know if we’ll be at the NFL headquarters in New York City or in Bristol Connecticut.

Ryan Christa
I don’t know I think what you’re gonna do is you’re gonna I think you’re gonna have the NFL headquarters

Santiago Leon
but New York City’s not doing well right now.

Ryan Christa
Go have a you know camera there so ESPN, but then you’ll have it You’re the host OPI me actually. ESPN studios and then

Santiago Leon
he will be hosting it.

Ryan Christa
He will be he’ll be doing it. It’s gonna be different

Santiago Leon
him or, or Diana. What’s her name? So I know Dana from ESPN. I know I know he’s out the field off the field stuff

Ryan Christa
anyway you’re gonna have cameras probably every facility you know and then you know whoever’s gonna you

Santiago Leon
know Dana Racine he I never see Yeah,

Ryan Christa
yeah, I know exactly. She’s up rising

Santiago Leon
star and ESPN. Ryan Any closing words of the free agency?

Ryan Christa
Um like we said I think your top tier players have been signed so now you’ve got your

Santiago Leon
second tier your consistency

Ryan Christa
Yeah, consistency guys who have been around the league a little bit then you second situation Yeah. So you’ll see these guys dying a little by little but you’re not pilots you long term deals for these guys.

Santiago Leon
One, one year for like $80 million.

Ryan Christa
Yeah, I mean, and I’m again to San Diego easily or a difference maker, but he also could not do anything as the Miami Dolphins about that.

Santiago Leon
There you have it dolphins are definitely working on thanks. random question of the day. What’s your favorite kind of puppy? The options are Beagle, the basset hound, the King Charles Spaniel or the

Santiago Leon
Shawn like, I don’t know how to pronounce

Ryan Christa
a beagle. By my choice, I would say a bulldog.

Santiago Leon
right there’s a lot of dogs out there but I, but according to Google, these are the top four in the world. But you know, some of these dogs i’ve i’ve never seen before, but there you have the Bulldog. Ryan, what is the best way to reach you to talk to you about PJ Walker?

Ryan Christa
Bobby on Twitter on the Mad Dog report? Yeah. You know, it’s definitely something has come at the right time for us as sports fans will give us a little bit of relief. Again, we’re just on the waiting game with our major sports and as the day is, of course, we’ll be seeing the Tokyo Olympics anytime soon.

Santiago Leon
Ah, it’s gonna be postponed hasn’t hasn’t been officially postponed but it will be postponed eventually I’ve heard

Ryan Christa
Yeah, about what you remember. This is wishful thinking is that you know, if we do have an NBA season, you know, all those players who are playing are playing for Team USA will probably be playing in the playoffs if we do have playoffs and you know, basketball this year,

Santiago Leon
I don’t think they’ll have like the Olympics at all. If NBA Playoffs do come back and might be to like July August and probably a small tournament. I mean, I don’t think everyone there.

Ryan Christa
If they just don’t, right, playoffs, which is you know, that the teams who then make the playoffs and 98 you know, there’ll be done or you can see and play about 10 games and go to you know, maybe afford top four. I don’t know I’d like to see him play the top 16 teams by Santiago but that’s just me.

Santiago Leon
NBA news is in limbo NBA Playoffs is in limbo, and you can reach us at

Ryan Christa
San Diego is that we’re gonna have a really fun summer scenario,

Santiago Leon
which is unusual summers are pretty boring except for, for like the all star game of like baseball which is not saying much at all. Or if you have a soccer tournament that summer, which waged like the big ones are canceled this this summer, potentially the Premier League might be playing in the summer, but if they don’t, they might just give the winter to Liverpool. But that’s another podcast to talk about. And you can reach us at the sports cast dotnet does sports cast dotnet or on Twitter at the sports cast one where we will deliver the latest and greatest news when it comes to sports. And we just had a article that was just posted by By Riley, Justin Riley ffls pj Walker signs with the Panthers another big, big scenario where you see a second tier league. You see him players jump into the NFL. The First Division I call it and XML is the lower division. But anyways, another day in sports Ryan, Krista. Oh, it’s a pleasure.

Ryan Christa
You’re gonna have a great day, everybody. God bless
