right now. It’s funny because we share a whatsapp group, a message group and I was I was I was kind of indicating to everyone. Watch out for this game. Real Madrid vs. Shakhtar, I had a feeling this game was gonna be difficult for real for Real Madrid. And it wasn’t upset. And this was like the upset I was looking at for a couple days. And I was correct, Fernando, were you having that same feeling like maybe shocked or wasn’t gonna be that easy?

Fernando Ulloa
Actually, to be honest, no. I mean, I was expecting real to come. Whereas you know, the king of the champions make a statement, they had a tough time starting the Champions League last year, which they draw it against the club, Bruce, and the first game two to two. And they thought they’re not going to make that same mistake. This one they’re going to go all in. And it was very surprising to see the the one the result. Number two, there were several players from the Schachter you know, starting team that were out due to COVID. So then you would think Schachter would have been even weaker. But after all, then you see Real Madrid lineup, one of the first things I thought was that actually how many games have this starting lineup play together? And my my thought was probably not. I mean, there were several changes. A lot of players that I have not been playing regularly. And I don’t know if it because it was because you know, it’s in the dean thought like, Oh, this should be not such such a hard game. And despite of that, you know, the players do have the time. That’s what I’m saying. It was something else. It was mental. It was a lack of, you know, maybe we’ll determination to go over and get that game. And of course, you can’t put aside that they’re playing against 11 other players, which today did their job pretty well.

You think age is playing a factor for Madrid now do you think a lot of these players man I’ve been playing for a while for like that like the very past couple years. Do you think it’s maybe it’s time to rebuild.

Fernando Ulloa
I think they have a lot of youth actually. They do have some seasoned players. One of them scored a great goal today look up mortgage. You know, he he is he’s 3536, I believe, I’m not sure and he scored a great goal. He’s always giving great passes. Sometimes he’s like lost a little bit, but uh, that’s for any other reason. That being said, I do believe Real Madrid has young time as well of, you know, some seasoned talent. I don’t think that they should start worrying right now. But they do have to start building and giving minutes to that you that will be the future.

So definitely look, of course, we’ll talk a little bit more about that matchup between Madrid and shakhtyor, which we already kind of talked about already. Okay, let’s start with the group a salsburg time Lokomotiv Moscow, tu tu tu? Um, it was players that I don’t know of. But I guess it was between the Austrians and Moscow, though I do believe that. That a Red Bull Salzburg wanting to win this game badly.

Yeah. As they proved last year, you know that they had a different element of their gender and their forward zone. But they have been playing well and they’re actually they’re very good competitors on these on this championship, you know, the Champions League, they had 15 shots on goal that’s a lot. Seven of them were on target. So you know, they’re out there trying to score games. They’re passive curious. He was, you know, not that bad. They were very constant. Not that many fouls not that many cards. And I was it was it was fun looking at the stats up into the game. I believe they made like 452 passes. So they have a pretty good game and they’re definitely a strong team. I mean, maybe not as strong as others of course but what I keep about this game what I like the most is that both of these teams there may be not superstar teams as we know them. But uh, they they gave their all and I mean, it was a fun game. four goals in one match. That’s pretty good.

Yep, totally 100% I still believe there they are the favorite dizzier after the performances we’ve been seeing, it’s not just that Champions League, the last league they won. But also this league they’re starting strong I believe they lost one game which was you know, that weird game that happens. But then again today they proved it. They were very very I’m gonna say this, they were very very strong and I mean, you can just see the possession was 59% they had a very high pass accuracy 60 shots of five of them on target but they got four goals and they only let us make one shot on target. So that gives you a lot about their defensive skills as well as their attacking skills.

I think it’s a it’s a very interesting situation because I if you look at him You can see he’s totally out of shape. Like he’s going like the hard way you know his totally out of shape. But despite that, he’s always in the right position. You can tell he’s a striker, he’s a number nine he’s gonna be there and if he gets the ball he’s a danger. I say group, Madrid needs to get their head back in the game. And as of right now, we should be afraid because of drama due to poor performance on the weekend and the league. And now they’re bringing this performance today. Despite, I mean, despite the fact that it’s supposed to be a weak opponent. What where is the Moses? Is that I mean, if you look, line by line, that kind of data Real Madrid has, they should have won this game, period. There’s enough talent. You have, you know, great defense, with the exception of militao. Maybe I’ve never liked militao I think that’s a weak link right there. But then you got mortgage, but better there. casimiro, sensio rodrygo. And then the other weak link would be George. I’m a big fan of George. But we barely seen him. You know, I know he hasn’t had that many minutes. But now it’s time for him to start, you know, showing that he can be a real madrid player. And I don’t know it leaves a bad feeling. Because I don’t feel this club is performing at their 100%

I would hope so. But I mean, it’s the beginning of the Champions League or the beginning of their activity for the season. So it’s not really the beginning. The I mean, there are so high possibilities to advance to the next round of course, and I’m pretty sure they will do it. I hope they will do it. But uh nevertheless, your Real Madrid vs. Shakhtar donuts, you can be losing points like this, you know these are valuable points at the end of the day.

That was definitely a must win for Madrid Shaq dar, how would you view him? contenders are this is just a lucky day.

I think First, you need to congratulate chocolate. I mean, regardless of anything else, they played their game, they scored three goals. And they defended well enough to not be you know, tired, or or for the score to be turned around. So congrats, Doctor big applause but uh, I think it’s it’s not a situation like the solid or maybe with Atlanta last year. I think this this was that Lucky Strike like the one you know, bridge had last year. And I mean, I hope the best for them. I hope they lose against Madrid next time. That’s that’s, that’s for sure. But uh, I don’t think they’re gonna be a surprise like those other teams I just mentioned.

Yeah, I mean, 100% because at the other side, you have Mansouri and it’s, they’re going to be tough game. So every point you let go, it’s gonna hurt you. Regardless, you still have any games left, but every point counts at the end. And congratulations to Olympiakos I mean the game is not over till it’s over. So this is one of the best proves that that phrase is actually right and what a goal you know, 91st minute well deserved and Murcia is gonna have a hard time

But you probably remember him back when he played for West Ham and he was amazing.

Something definitely look at Of course, you know, you always follow these games on TD un, um, Group D, the last group of today, Ajax Liverpool, Liverpool, one, one nil. They’ve been having a interesting couple of weeks, losing against Aston Villa and, and also tying with Everton, which is arguably good, but a own goal from ix. Nicholas. FICO gave the goal to Liverpool the 35th minute and that was enough for Liverpool.

Yeah, I mean, Liverpool is Liverpool. They have a great team. I think the one bad thing right now in Liverpool was Virgil’s, you know, injury, which is gonna leave him out for around six months that leaves Oh, so that stuff. The good thing is they have you know, Joe Gomez, and Fabio that can also play as a centre back. So they have no issues there. They have plenty of midfielders. And then on the other side, you had add jacks, which everybody was expecting to, you know, get back on the game after the performance they did. Not the previous or Champions League or the addition before that one. They had so many great players, they still have, you know, doddridge WNS daily blind which is probably the oldest player in that team Botha only Nicolas tagliafico, despite his own goal, he’s one of the for me, he’s one of the best left backs. There is right now. But we’re still not seeing that adjuncts we saw and they better bring their game up if they want to be part of this Champions League again.

It’s huge. It’s a huge impact of despite, you know, your other center backs performing as well. But you’re not just losing one of the best center backs in the world probably the best one right now in most of people’s rankings. But you’re losing a leader not just in the defense but for the whole team. Very definitely causes an impact in the whole team. He’s one of those you know, captains you might say without the armband was not wearing one so

yeah, that’s something to definitely look at me as a Liverpool fan. That’s huge. Of course the replacement is going to be Gomez Joseph Gomez and the back or possibly fubini Oh, definitely got a look at what’s gonna happen there. But will this I mean, will this slow them down to one? I mean, will this slow him down to win a nother title for the Premier League or maybe like the Champions League?

Actually, I was gonna say maybe it won’t be that much of an impact for the Premier League. You know, it’s a longer competition and it’s more about our season long performance, but in the Champions League not having very driven like it’s definitely a lot they’re gonna suffer a lot

I’ve been watching the Premier League for the past 10 years and yes, the Liga had its moments I think Liga is going through a dip right now obviously it’s arguably can’t give to Parkin to that to Jaime but I do really think is definitely dipped a bit and Premier League a lot of players are heading towards a premier league they’re a little bit better apparently. And of course you got high Miss Rodriguez but but but of course I’m not saying Thomas Riddick is making the difference. But he’s part of the situation going on. Let’s predict some some Premier League gains, man, the Premier League match on the weekend, Man United vs. Chelsea, who do you have there?

Oh, man, that’s a tough one. Because they have their ups and downs for them. And they have great players. But after seeing Chelsea and seeing tmos performance, and that goal scoring, I’m gonna go with Chelsea, interstate. I mean, it’s a very youthful team. But man, what a team.

I you know, it’s funny because because I believe there were a few games where he didn’t score at all. But this past weekend, he scored a lot. I’m really happy to see his his performance doing a way better. Um, one thing that’s really surprised me this season when I think of it couldn’t make the top three maybe when it is Everton. You think Everton has the tools to get things going for the top three, or maybe win it.

They definitely have the tools, for sure. But again, I mean, it’s a very long competition. Plus you got champions in the middle and you got many other tournaments in the in the middle. So at one point in the competition, you need to start putting some players rest, making some changes in your on your formation, and your lineups. And your starting lineups at least so you can give rests on players. So I’m not sure how deep their roster is in that sense. But however, they do have the tools they have. They have proved it already. And they’re not despite them being considered like middle table team. I think right now they’re right where they deserve to be and they can definitely fight for those top spots in the Premier.

I think it’s the best fit for him. So far, because he’s playing, he was not playing a Real Madrid. And that’s definitely sad for the player, for sure. It’s terrible for his form, and for his confidence for his getting maintenance. You know, if you’re on the pitch, that’s what you need to be, you know, to be performing better every time it’s to be on the pitch in order to be on the pitch. So on that sense, it is the best fit for him. And moreover, he’s with a coach that that knows how to bring out the best in the hammers. And he’s doing just that and the best thing for hammers is give him the ball, let him play with the ball and distribute the game. Mark the paces and that’s what he’s doing. And he’s doing a great

yeah, I went when he was with Real Madrid. He didn’t have much of a starting position it was kind of it was kind of very loaded squad roster.
