The Seattle Seahawks and their quarterback, Russell Wilson, steadied themselves and moved into first place in the NFC West. Wilson threw two touchdown passes and benefited from an improved running game as the Seahawks beat the Cardinals, 28-21, Thursday night in Seattle.

TITANS (6-3) at RAVENS (6-3)
The Ravens and Titans meet for the 21st time in history. Both teams are in similar spots as the Seahawks and Cardinals, except this matchup has more wild card implications in case both teams falter down the stretch. A win for either team could be the difference-maker in going in or out of the playoffs.

Pittsburgh is the lone undefeated team in the NFL while the Jaguars have only one win and don’t really have much of an offense outside of rookie James Robinson. Jake Luton has had some tough matchups to start his career and it gets even harder with the Steelers defense coming to town.

Thank you for having me. Darrell. It’s been a phenomenal writer for the sports cast live tweeting our games on the weekends. And he liked to into the NBA Draft this past week on it was two nights ago. Darrell tell us your recap over it What were your thoughts and who was the winner?

a winner of the NBA Draft to me I would say to Golden State Warriors because you know what i Klay Thompson is now injured. Torn Achilles attended and they drafted a big man James Weisman who I thought they were actually kick a guard. They took Wiseman who’s up who most people believe was a throwback, big man. But he’s not he has a mid range jump shot. Him and curry gonna pick and roll is going to be phenomenal. He could finish around protect around. The me. Weissman will probably end up his ceiling will probably be a better version of Dwight Howard, with a more offensive game. The loser of the NBA draft is of course, America’s favorite New York Knicks. I don’t see why they took a powerful when they have like, five power forwards already Obi toppin is a better version of Julius Randle with a with a mid range game, he can’t shoot threes but so can Randall so it’s like we don’t need a garnish. It took Tyrese Haliburton. So now it’s like and who else?

And as a prize pick that I didn’t know who’s gonna get drafted was RJ happening to the Milwaukee Bucks. I feel like he needed a one more season overseas to grow. If he would have went to college, maybe that could have raised the draft stock because he did play against like Melbourne, I think his first game over there. And he he just seems like he’s too weak. He’s like he didn’t his body hasn’t caught up with a skill level yet.

right there. Yeah, Anthony Edwards is a grown man like six five to 25 athletic can shoot three they say they’re mine with James Harden. I see more Dwayne waiting him he didn’t show it at Georgia cuz he decided to shoot threes because the Bulldogs are struggling they’re only down like the team 20 points so he had to shoot the three ball to put his team back in the game. But around the rim he can finish

something to definitely look at and Jordan year. Your Orlando Magic. Had a good pick. What were your thoughts? Yeah, well, it remains to be seen if it’s a good pick or not, obviously, but it isn’t exciting pick. The Magic generally go for just length and athleticism. This time they went for Cole Anthony, son of Greg Anthony, of course, former NBA player and broadcaster. And Anthony he’s a score. You know, prior to the 2019 college basketball season, he was looked at as a potential number one overall pick. Maybe not the best athlete in the world but he is athletic does have speed can play a shooting guard point guard and he can definitely fill it up driving to the lane and also shooting the three ball so it’ll be fun to see usually like I said, they go for those defensive type of guys with the length. But Anthony is definitely a change of pace and hopefully he can kind of ignite the magics offense. Something definitely look at the next Darryl got three pigs. Do you think it’ll be enough for for them to turn their organization around?

And the next need a lot of help. And no, I don’t I don’t think Obi toppin is gonna see in New York. I feel like they’re gonna trade him later on down the road because they have Julius Randle looked closer at Dr. Julius Randle. They have like RJ Barrett. He needs a garden for him in the back corner. They don’t have that right now. They don’t need a big man. That’s basically Julius Randle 2.0 they don’t need that. And I like ob talk I’m not saying I’ll be talking gonna be like a bust. But I feel like he’s not gonna show his true Arsenal in New York because they don’t have a guard. RJ Barrett is more of a score he thought a playmaker. A player like Obi toppin needs to be in the pick and roll so he can like roll to the basket case law or pick and pop to the three point line shoot threes. You can’t get us on offense yet.

Something definitely look at we’ll see how these things play out. Sometimes it could take years or or it could be overnight success. But we’ll see what happens the next couple months. The NBA season starts in December. Christmas day I believe right there.

December 22. Couple of days before That’s why I asked you because it feels like Christmas Day will be a bad day for opening. Opening Day for NBA. Last night guys. The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Cardinals 20 to 21. It was a tight match up. We saw a great grade game from Wilson. Jordan, where your thoughts about last night’s game? Yeah, I mean, when you look at Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray, it’s kind of the future of the NFL. They’re obviously Russell Wilson’s not a spring chicken anymore. But just with the athletic mobile quarterbacks with big arms. They’re two of the best. And that’s going to be a really interesting divisional race out there in the West and the NFC between the Seahawks Cardinals, and the Rams are playing good football as well. So, and of course you can’t forget about the 40 Niners even though they’re not playing quite as well with all the injuries that they’ve been sustaining. But yeah, awesome game. I mean, you can’t ask for more than Russell Wilson versus Kyler Murray at this point, though, your thoughts over last night’s game

Kyler Murray’s gonna get MVP candidate in the future. He’s already won now. But I get him next season. He’s gonna win MVP.

I’ll definitely see that very possible with his team he has. But anyways, are you guys ready to preview NFL week? 11. Let’s get it. See Titans at the Baltimore Ravens AFC rivalry. We’ll start with Jordan. Where do you thoughts over this matchup? Titans at ravens. I mean, when you look at the line, the Ravens are favored by six and a half the Titans have been kind of sliding recently not playing as well. But the Titans took the Ravens down in the playoffs last year if I’m not mistaken. And they were heavy underdogs in that one as well. I’ll take the Titans against the Ravens. I think Lamar is not playing as well as we thought he would the offense is not kind of firing on all cylinders as much as we thought that it would. The Titans have a lot to prove kind of sliding recently, like I mentioned. So let’s go for the Titans to not only cover at minus six and a half. But to win the game. Darrell, what are your thoughts over the Titans at the Ravens?

I have the Titans winning just because the Ravens offense has become predictable. I have been winning 3024 3024.

Let’s go to Carolina lions at Carolina. What do you got Jordan? So lions app Panthers. I’m gonna take the Panthers I think they’re better coached I think their defense is playing better than the lions defense and you like what you see from from Bridgewater and the receivers and especially Curtis Samuel. He’s really come on this year become a really versatile weapon for the Panthers. And of course you’ve seen what Robbie Anderson has been able to do down there and Carolina. So I’ll take the Panthers Darryl.

Yeah, one player can make a difference. I mean, it’s not just Myles Garrett. But when you look at the type of impact he’s had for the Browns this year, I mean, now miles Garrett, the eagles and the browns. It was already kind of a toss up so I’ll take the Eagles because of that. patriots at the Texans the Patriots are still in the hunt for division title. Jordan, what’s gonna happen at NRG Stadium? This is an interesting one right? You’ve got Romeo Coronel is the interim head coach for the Texans. Obviously, he worked with Bill Belichick for a long time and New England. Texans are struggling. patriots aren’t too much better in my opinion. I’ll take the Texans on offense to to get it going against the Patriots this week. Darrell What do you got to Texas or the Pats?

probably good money right there. Which was last week actually nevermind about last week but let’s go on to Jacksonville the Steelers add jaguars Some say it’s a trap game. We’ll start with Jordan because I know you have more insight with this matchup. So CJ Henderson jaguars working corner he was just placed on IR yesterday. That’s going to be a big issue when you’re talking about trying to cover Maple Tron Deontay Johnson. You’ve got Juju in the slot. Obviously big Ben’s play an excellent football. I don’t. I don’t see any way the Jaguars are able to even cover in this one. They’re 10 point home dogs. I’ll take the Steelers with the points and Overall. Daryl Are you optimistic with the Jaguars? Are you think Steelers will have their 10th win this weekend?

sorry to hear that Jordan. Yeah, I mean I there’s two possible scenarios a blowout and a closed victory for the Steelers. The jaguars have been playing better football lately, only losing to the Packers by four points last week. They almost beat the Texans the week before. So they have been playing better football, but it’s going to be tough with no CJ Henderson. And, you know, this is just a very inexperienced group. They’re one and eight for a reason. And the Steelers are obviously undefeated for a reason as well. They’re playing great on offense. They’ve got an elite front seven got Minka Fitzpatrick Roman, the back end on the secondary. Yeah, I don’t think the Jaguars can cover in this one. Jordan, the Jaguars kept the tie with the Packers last weekend. Was there something that you were noticing or they’ve just got lucky with the Packers? I mean, the weather conditions made it difficult to score points for either team. It was very windy, very cold game. But the defense is playing better football than it had obviously not having CJ Henderson out there is going to hurt in that regard. It’ll be interesting. This is a big test for the Jaguars defense in terms of like, are they actually making progress because you have the Packers last week where they held them to 24 points. Pretty impressive, right. But you had the weather impacting the offense and the week before they did another pretty good job against the Texans. So if they can do hold the Steelers to under 30 points, I think that would be pretty impressive, but I just don’t really see it happening to be completely honest. Tell us about the quarterback, Luton, how are you seeing his performance so far? Is he I mean, is he doing enough to maybe overtake Minshew or what are your thoughts? I think this will be a pivotal game in that regard for him Minshew did start to practice this week, but he will not play in the game. So Luton will start for the Jaguars. He played a pretty impressive game and his first start against the Texans. There was several turnover worthy plays where he kind of got bailed out by the Texans not capitalizing on them. And then last week, not very accurate, but again, the wind was a big factor and that I believe, and so basically, I think it’s gonna come down to how well he plays this week. And like I said, it’s gonna be tough against as Steelers front seven TJ watts playing incredible football. You’ve got Stefan to it and cam Hayward and then of course, Fitzpatrick on the back end, Joe Hayden’s no slouch at corner either then Hilton in the slot. So if Luton can play, you know, turnover, free football and get a little more accurate than he was last week, I think you could see him hold on to the job another week. But I don’t expect that to happen. Our next match out Falcons at the saints breaking news in the past 45 minutes. Quarterback taysom Hill will be the starter over James Winston, late breaking news. Jordan, do you think this will change the paradigm a bit like what are your thoughts? I think the Falcons are gonna win this game. They’ve been playing a lot better since they fired their head coach Raheem Morris is doing a good job. Obviously taysom Hill doesn’t have much experience as an actual NFL quarterback more of a gadget player. So yeah, I think the the Falcons will go in and and get a W with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones both healthy. I’m not sure what camp Calvin Ridley status is going to be for that game. But they’ve been playing better football, like I said in recent weeks. And even when they got off to that terrible start, there was three games. I believe they were leading in the fourth quarter that they ended up losing. So yeah, I’ll take the Falcons in this one. Daryl who you have in Orleans?

I think it’s a pride factor for Sean Payton. He’s been all aboard the taysom Hill Express for the last several years. They spent the money to bring him back this offseason. I just think that Peyton thinks that he’ll come play quarterback. I don’t know if I’m with him, but we’ll see how it all works out this week. Which is interesting because I was reading an ESPN. Yes. I mean, ESPN is saying good things about taysom Hill and everything. We got Ryan Krista upstate New York another gators fan. Welcome to the sportscast.

They they’ve got an excellent defensive front they’re playing very well on defense. So it’s kind of like an offense first defense type of battle there. I’ll take the Bengals I think Joe burrow is going to start to turn things around a little bit for the Bengals down the stretch and I think that they’re passing offense is just going to be too much for the skins to handle. or excuse me, a football team to handle I missed that name. You know, it’s funny because it feels like there’s a lot of these bad games the past couple of weeks. I’m gonna share with the COVID thing. Anyways. Dolphins at the Broncos. Dolphins are in a roll Jordan, you think they could beat them in Denver? Yeah, they’ll keep rolling I believe the Broncos are having to trot out Brett rip and that’s not good. Drew lock wasn’t playing very well either. Broncos had bedeck big expectations on offense heading into the season with Locke and with all the young weapons at receiver and tight end but things have not come to fruition there and the dolphins defense is rolling to is playing good football they’ve got the receiving talent I’ll take the dolphins Darrell arguably the dolphins as well.

But you know, it’s it’s only gonna have to prove it and like the next couple of weeks another interesting game but not really jets at the Chargers or nine jets chargers two and seven. I’m Justin Herbert had an A incredible haircut. Jordan, what’s gonna happen there? Yeah, I don’t think the haircut is gonna impact his game. I think he’s gonna play well. The Jets are the worst team in football. So yeah, I will take the Chargers traveling to New York and taking down the Jets. That’s not easy to go west coast to East Coast but the Jets are just not playing good football. The Chargers have an excellent offense. I will take them to kind of put it together and not fall apart at the end of this game. It’s actually in LA. Oh, it’s in LA so you gotta jump around jets. could be Rookie of the Year. So I’m taking digit I mean charges. Oh, no jets that when I get there first win of the season. Let’s go on to Green Bay. The Colts are visiting Green Bay. This Colts team is interesting, Jordan. It feels like they’re a force to be reckoned with who you got. That’s a hell of a game. Hell of a matchup. Obvious obviously you like Rogers more than rivers. But in terms of weapons, the Colts have an excellent ground game. They’ve been running the ball very well. They’ve got kind of a three headed backfield. They’ve got maybe the best defense in football statistically they’re definitely up there. And then you look at the Packers. With with Rodgers, davante Adams and Aaron Jones. They’re always tough to take out and they’ve got the darious Smith and Preston Smith on the defensive line getting after quarterbacks. That’s a hell of a game. Where is it again? It is in Green Bay, San Green Bay.
