The Las Vegas Raiders release wide receiver Tyrell Williams. Williams missed the entire 2020 season with a shoulder injury he sustained during training camp.
Williams, 29, has struggled with injuries since signing a four-year, $44 million with the Raiders in 2019. Williams, a star at Cascade High School and Western Oregon University, posted 42 catches for 651 yards and six touchdowns for the Raiders in 14 games in 2019. However, he was slowed by plantar fasciitis in both feet for much of the season.
