Just days ago, it was reported that the NFL had told the troubled wide receiver that he would be reinstated, and could be back on the playing field by Week 4. Gordon applied for reinstatement to the league in July. He was suspended in December 2019 for violating the league’s substance abuse and performance-enhancing drug policies — Gordon’s fifth violation of the league’s drug policy. Now, he gets yet another chance.
