The Atlanta Hawks and guard Kevin Huerter agreed to a four-year, $65 million contract extension Monday.
Huerter, 23, is the latest core member of a young Hawks roster to secure a contract extension.
The 6-foot-7 Huerter — who averaged 11.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists in the postseason during the Hawks’ run to the Eastern Conference finals — has shown himself to be a versatile wing player and an ideal backcourt complement to All-Star point guard Trae Young.
