Tommy Fury to Jake Paul: “Step up and fight a boxer; stop playing games”

Posted on January 7, 2022January 7, 2022 by Santiago Leon

In a recent interview, boxer Tommy Fury has called out Jake Paul to reschedule the fight and stop playing games

Fury has been firm in rescheduling the fight with Paul, “100% I can clarify now that me and my team have been working on this, you know, 24 hours a day.” Fury wants to reschedule the fight in March.

Fury doesn’t think Paul has the experience in boxing and needs to fight a real boxer, “But the only way you get better is through fighting. And he’s not bad. He’s not the experience nowhere near enough. And I know this. And that’s why he’s probably not going to look any different in his next fight or the fight after that.” Fury said, “because in this game, you need experience. And a man who’s never had that much contest or, you know, a real boxing contest, you know, he’s not going to get any better. You can spar as much as you want. You can trade as much as you want. The only way you get better is by going through them ropes.”

The fight was originally scheduled for December 18th, but Fury pulled out due to an injury.
