On Monday, the Bills announced Matt Barkley has signed a one-year deal with the team.
Barkley, 31, spent the 2018 to 2020 seasons in Buffalo. Mostly only playing when games were already decided, the Bills did get a few decent, meaningful showings out of Barkley.
Prior to last season, Buffalo opted to sign Mitchell Trubisky as Josh Allen’s backup in favor of having Barkley resume his role there.
