The US House Oversight Committee sent a letter to the FTC saying it found evidence the NFL’s Washington Commanders and owner Dan Snyder engaged in unlawful financial conduct.
The Committee’s investigation includes emails and other documents, as well as statements made by former employees, all of which point to ‘a troubling, long-running, and potentially unlawful pattern of financial conduct,’ according to the letter.
Congress alleges the Commanders and Dan Snyder did things like withhold $$ from season ticket holders & hide $$ from other NFL owners.
“The team’s financial improprieties may have extended to tickets registered in Commissioner Roger Goodell’s name.”
