The Eagles entered the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft with two picks. They will now leave it with a proven star wide receiver after acquiring A.J. Brown from the Titans in exchange for the 18th overall selection and a third-round pick, as ESPN first reported.
Brown, who had demanded a new contract from Tennessee, has 3,000 yards receiving with 24 touchdowns over three seasons. He started 13 games in 2021 due to injury but posted 869 yards and five touchdowns in those contests.
The move was a stunner in more ways than one as Brown was actually the second wide receiver traded during the round with the Cardinals acquiring Marquise Brown from the Ravens just a few moments earlier.
