Steelers new stadium
After 21 years as Heinz Field, the Steelers’ home stadium has been re-named to Acrisure Stadium after the two sides came to terms on a 15-year agreement.

Le’Veon Bell vs Adrian Peterson
Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell will be trading in their football helmets for boxing gloves on July 30. The two running backs will face off against one another inside Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena. They will co-main event a show featuring Austin McBroom vs. AnEsonGib.
Peterson was one of the most dominant running backs of all time. He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2007 NFL Draft, following a run at Oklahoma. He set an NFL record his rookie year for the most rushing yards in a single game (296). A seven-time Pro Bowler, Peterson tore his ACL and MCL in 2011. In 2012, he had a season to remember, rushing for 2,097 yards. He won the MVP Award in the process.

Former Steelers WR Ryan Switzer announces retirement
Ryan Switzer, a former standout receiver at North Carolina who had a five-year career in the NFL, has retired from football.
Switzer, who has not appeared in an NFL game since 2019, announced his decision Monday on Twitter.
Switzer spent the last two seasons in Cleveland, where he was on the practice squad while battling injuries.
Before that, Switzer spent two years returning kicks and punts for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2018 for Pittsburgh, he also caught 36 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown.
Switzer, a fourth-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2017, was an All-American in college for North Carolina
