Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams is expected to undergo season-ending surgery to repair his torn quad tendon, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday.
Adams, a three-time Pro Bowler and a key cog in Seattle’s defense, suffered the injury on a tackle of quarterback Russell Wilson in the team’s 17-16 victory over the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
The Seahawks are signing cornerback Teez Tabor off the Falcons’ practice squad to fill Adams’ roster spot, per Rapoport.
