The Titans have downgraded quarterback Ryan Tannehill to out for Sunday’s game against the Texans.
Which will make Malik Willis in line to make his first career start on Sunday in Houston.
The Titans will also make quarterback Logan Woodside a gameday elevation for Sunday’s game, along with defensive lineman Larrell Murchison. Both players will revert to the practice squad after the contest.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said Willis took advantage of his opportunities in practice in trying “to lead and function as our quarterback.” Willis played three snaps against the Colts, but just one at quarterback when he stepped in for Tannehill and handed the ball off.
