Stetson Bennett threw four touchdowns and scored another two with his legs as Georgia steamrolled TCU 65-7 to claim its second straight national championship Monday night.
Bennett tied Joe Burrow’s College Football Playoff title game record with six total touchdowns in the rout. The senior received a standing ovation upon his removal from the game in the fourth quarter.
Georgia’s 65-point onslaught set a new BCS/CFP title game record.
