The Los Angeles Angels placed star outfielder Mike Trout on the 10-day injured list with a fractured hamate bone in his left wrist, the club announced Tuesday.
The Angels recalled outfielder Jo Adell from Triple-A to take Trout’s place on the roster.
The typical recovery timeline for the injury is four-to-eight weeks, according to Jeff Fletcher of SoCal News Group.
