Lucas Glover posted a final-round 68 on Sunday to capture the Wyndham Championship at 20-under, two shots clear of Russell Henley and Byeong-Hun An.
Glover’s win is the fifth of his career and first since the 2021 John Deere Classic. The 43-year-old’s timing couldn’t have been better, as his triumph this week vaulted him from 112th to 49th in the FedEx Cup standings, good enough to send him to the playoffs for the fifth year in a row.
He’s the oldest player to win on TOUR since Phil Mickelson won the 2021 PGA Championship at 50.
