Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart named Carson Beck his starting quarterback.
“Carson Beck is going to be our starting quarterback,” Smart said, according to The Athletic’s Seth Emerson. “He’s done the best job. We communicated that early in the week to the other quarterbacks.”
The junior passer beat out Brock Vandagriff and Gunner Stockton for the starting role.
