Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb will undergo a second surgery to repair his ACL after having successful surgery to repair his MCL, meniscus, and medial capsule, the team announced Saturday.
The team was reportedly optimistic that the ACL was intact before Chubb went under the knife, but the ligament will ultimately need to be repaired.
Cleveland expects Chubb to return “at some point in the 2024 season” after original reports expected the tailback to return in six-to-eight months.
