Kirk Cousins is expected to stay with the Minnesota Vikings for the remainder of this year, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cousins has been linked as a potential trade target for the New York Jets, who lost Aaron Rodgers to an Achilles injury in Week 1. However, Cousins reportedly won’t look to waive the no-trade clause in his contract, which expires at the end of the 2023 campaign.
The 35-year-old has started 85 games since signing with Minnesota in 2018. He recently said he isn’t focused on the speculation regarding his future ahead of the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline and declined to answer whether he would consider waiving his no-trade clause.
