Michigan has sent documents to the Big Ten Conference that the school believes prove that three teams were engaged in communications about sharing the Wolverines’ signals in 2022, sources told ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg and Tom VanHaaren.
Ohio State, Rutgers, and Purdue are the three conference teams Michigan referred to, Rittenberg and VanHaaren report.
Purdue, which faced Michigan in the 2022 Big Ten Championship game, reportedly received the Wolverines’ offensive signals from Ohio State and its defensive signs from Rutgers. The Boilermakers suffered a 43-22 loss to Michigan in the conference title game.
