The Boston Celtics are signing guard Jrue Holiday to a four-year, $135-million contract extension, his agent Jason Glushon told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Holiday is declining his $37.3-million player option for the 2024-25 season to sign the deal, which will keep him under contract through the 2027-28 season.
The veteran guard’s extension will save the franchise several million dollars on the cap next season, which will also help it retain the core of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Derrick White.
