Denver win NCAA men’s hockey title after beating Boston College

Jared Wright and Rieger Lorenz netted second-period goals as third-ranked Denver defeated top-seeded Boston College 2-0 on Saturday to claim the national championship in men’s hockey.

Pioneers goaltender Matt Davis was named Most Outstanding Player for the tourney. Five of the six players on the All-Tournament team played for Denver.
