The Pittsburgh Steelers aren’t picking up the fifth-year option on the rookie contract for running back Najee Harris, sources told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac and Ray Fittipaldo.
The 26-year-old Harris will become a free agent following the 2024 season.
The Steelers are taking a wait-and-see approach ahead of Harris’ first year under new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith before they commit to the productive tailback, sources told the Post-Gazette.
