The Cardinals, White Sox and Dodgers are in agreement on a three-team deal that will send reliever Michael Kopech and infielder Tommy Edman to Los Angeles and right-hander Erick Fedde and outfielder Tommy Pham to St. Louis, sources confirmed to ESPN amid multiple media reports Monday.
The White Sox will be getting Miguel Vargas and a haul of prospects in return, sources confirmed to ESPN.
Kopech, 28, is 2-8 with a 4.74 ERA and 9 saves in 43 2/3 innings across 43 appearances this season for the White Sox, with whom he’s pitched since entering the majors in 2018. The former starter was moved to the bullpen prior to this season.
