New Orleans Saints receiver Rashid Shaheed will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing meniscus surgery Thursday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Shaheed was placed on injured reserve and faces a four-to-six month recovery, Schefter adds.
Doctors opted for the full repair rather than just trimming his meniscus, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
