The New Orleans Saints are signing running back Alvin Kamara to a two-year, $24.5-million contract extension, his agent told Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The deal includes $22 million guaranteed and will keep Kamara under contract through the 2026 season, notes Garafolo. It’ll also save roughly $18 million in salary-cap space for the Saints in 2025, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The 29-year-old still had one year left on his previous contract, but his cap number in 2025 would’ve been $29 million, per Over The Cap.
