The Golden State Warriors are finalizing a deal to acquire Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder and a second-round pick for De’Anthony Melton and three second-round picks, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The move is on course to be completed Sunday, when Melton becomes trade-eligible.
Schroder is averaging 18.4 points on 45.2% field-goal shooting, along with 6.6 assists, three rebounds, and 1.1 steals. The veteran guard is also knocking down a career-best 2.5 shots from three, shooting 38.7%.
