Norfolk State is hiring former NFL star Michael Vick as its next head coach, Vick confirmed on his Facebook page Tuesday.
“Looking forward to coming back home,” he wrote.
Vick had a storied playing career at both Virginia Tech and in the NFL but has no coaching experience at either level. He was an intern for the Kansas City Chiefs under Andy Reid in 2017 and was a consultant for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football in 2019.
