The New York Mets are bringing left-handed starter Sean Manaea back on a three-year, $75-million contract, Jeff Passan of ESPN reports.
The 32-year-old authored a 3.47 ERA and 3.83 FIP over 181 2/3 innings last year while making 32 starts and garnering down-ballot Cy Young consideration.
Manaea originally joined the Mets on a two-year, $28-million contract last winter. He exercised an opt-out at the beginning of this offseason that cut the deal short.
