The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a three-year deal with former Seattle Seahawks sideline boss Pete Carroll to make him the franchise’s next head coach, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Momentum toward hiring Carroll was reportedly building ahead of Friday’s deal. He also informally spoke to the Dallas Cowboys and interviewed with the Chicago Bears during this year’s coaching cycle.
Carroll has spent 18 seasons as an NFL head coach, most recently with Seattle. The Seahawks and Carroll parted ways in 2023 after a second consecutive 9-8 season.
