Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders said he expects to make the 53-man roster despite struggling in the team’s final preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.
“Obviously,” Sanders responded when asked if he belongs on the Browns for the 2025 season, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer. “I think, overall, as a player, I’ve put in the work. I feel like everything I do, I try to do it to my best, and that’s all I can ask for.”
Sanders started the second half of Saturday’s contest and completed just three of six passes for 14 yards. He was sacked five times, including a play early in the fourth quarter that resulted in a 24-yard loss.
