Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin will decide on his coaching future on Saturday, Nov. 29, the day after the Rebels play rival Mississippi State in the annual Egg Bowl.
Ole Miss officials have been seeking clarity from Kiffin on whether he wants to remain the Rebels’ coach or pursue another opportunity elsewhere. The 50-year-old has generated interest from multiple suitors amid head coaching vacancies at Florida and LSU.
LSU executives and athletic administrators are finalizing a multi-year contract offer worth at least $90 million over seven years that would make Kiffin one of the highest-paid coaches in the sport, sources told Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger.
