Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson will undergo core muscle surgery that’s expected to sideline him for about six weeks, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Hendrickson reportedly sustained the injury during the Bengals’ 27-18 road loss against the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 12.
After rest and rehab failed to resolve the issue, the 31-year-old is seeking further treatment, Schefter adds.
