TCU quarterback Josh Hoover intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he told ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Thursday.
Hoover won’t play in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 30, when the team is set to face USC.
He leaves the Horned Frogs after passing for 3,472 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions in 2025. Hoover, who projects as one of the top quarterbacks on the market, threw for 9,629 yards across four seasons at TCU.
