Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis sustained ligament damage in his left hand during Thursday’s contest against the Utah Jazz, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Davis could miss several months if a second opinion determines that surgery is required, Charania adds.
The 10-time All-Star exited with 2:08 remaining in the fourth quarter after Jazz big man Lauri Markkanen made contact with his hand on a baseline drive.
