The Milwaukee Bucks have begun sending counteroffers to teams aggressively pursuing a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo ahead of the Feb. 5 deadline, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, and New York Knicks are among the teams strongly interested in Antetokounmpo, Charania adds.
Milwaukee is reportedly seeking either a blue-chip talent and/or a significant package of draft picks for the two-time MVP. The Warriors submitted an offer centered on picks, the T-Wolves’ proposal focuses on players, while the Heat’s offer includes a combination of picks and players, Charania adds.
