The Golden State Valkyries selected LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson with the eighth pick in Monday’s WNBA draft and subsequently dealt her to the Seattle Storm for the draft rights to No. 16 selection Marta Suarez and a 2028 2nd-round pick.
Suarez, a small forward out of TCU, originally went to the Storm with the 16th overall pick.
