Miami Heat president Pat Riley isn’t considering trading center Bam Adebayo, nor is he interested in tanking.
“I am not saying that something would happen, but I want to build this around Bam. … I am just going to give you a flat-out no, I wouldn’t do that. Unless somebody gave me eight picks and (San Antonio Spurs star Victor) Wembanyama,” Riley said, according to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk.
Instead of trading their three-time All-Star, Riley said the Heat plan to be aggressive this offseason. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo could be available on the trade market.
