Where to Watch Spurs vs. Thunder: TV Channel, Start Time for 2026 NBA Western Conference Finals Game 1

Posted on May 18, 2026May 18, 2026 by Santiago Leon

The 2026 NBA Western Conference Finals officially get underway Monday night as the Oklahoma City Thunder host the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 at Paycom Center. With a trip to the NBA Finals on the line, two of the Western Conference’s top teams will begin what promises to be a highly anticipated playoff series.

The Thunder enter the conference finals after surviving a hard-fought semifinal battle against the Los Angeles Lakers. Oklahoma City has had nearly a week to rest and prepare after closing out the series with a dramatic 115-110 victory in Game 4. NBA MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander once again delivered in a big moment, finishing with 35 points and eight assists. Ajay Mitchell also provided a major boost with 28 points and four assists.

Meanwhile, the Spurs arrive with momentum and will look to steal an early road victory against a rested Thunder squad. Game 1 often sets the tone for an entire playoff series, making Monday’s opener even more important.

Spurs Seeking Early Upset Opportunity

San Antonio now faces the challenge of taking on a rested Thunder team on the road. Winning Game 1 could immediately shift momentum in the series and place pressure on Oklahoma City.
