In his latest online video, receiver Brandon Aiyuk set his sights on his former agent, Ryan Williams, and made it clear that he has no intention of returning to the San Francisco 49ers.
Aiyuk claims in the roughly three-and-a-half-minute video that firing Williams, who he said has a personal and business relationship with 49ers general manager John Lynch, sparked his ongoing saga with the team.
“That agent really started this whole shit cause I fired his ass. But he want to text my wife because he’s smart,” Aiyuk said in a YouTube video posted Saturday. “Don’t ever text my wife. Your ass fired.”
Aiyuk, who hasn’t played since tearing his ACL in Week 7 of the 2024 season, has been campaigning online to get out of his contract and join the Washington Commanders. The veteran stated earlier this week that he’d sign with the Commanders “tomorrow” if released.
