Kirk Cousins will be the Las Vegas Raiders’ starting quarterback for the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Miami Dolphins, head coach Klint Kubiak announced Wednesday.
“He played really good football,” Kubiak said. “I’m really happy with all three of our quarterbacks. Kirk’s had a really good offseason, very good camp, and he’s earned it.”
Cousins, 38, beat out the top pick in the 2026 draft, Fernando Mendoza, for the job. Cousins was signed in free agency after being released by the Atlanta Falcons.
