Chicago Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman was hospitalized for testing after he was struck by a foul ball during Sunday’s 9-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati.
Videos showed Bregman was hit just below his eye by a one-hop foul ball off the bat of teammate Michael Busch while standing on the grass several feet in front of the on-deck circle during the fourth inning.
